The sizes below are mere examples. You may order any size you like. Your hand painted icon is in accordance with a first come, first serve basis. This will determine your waiting period before I can begin your order. All estimated times of completion are approximate.
I normally paint on ¾” birch solid wood but I also have canvas framed icons for sale as well. If requested, canvas framed icons are available and less in cost than solid wood icons. No less attention to canvas icons is given than for wooden icons. Please see examples of both below for price differences.
Both wood and canvas framed icons are available with all gold, gold only in the halo or no gold. The less the gold, the less the cost. Gold is simply an aesthetic and not part of the purpose of its use nor the theological essence of the icon.

Shipping and Handling cost:
This additional cost is added on the original price of the icon. The price is unpredictable. It depends on packaging, size, weight and distance for icon to be shipped. International orders have additional shipping and handling requirements.

Extra Figures in Icons: Icons with two or more figures are of course available as well, such as “The Directress”, or a Saints martyrdom, Or for another example, Saints Cosmos and Damion. Please contact me to discuss your interests. Thank you.
Festal Icons [For example: Nativity, Ascension, Anastasis, Hospitality of Abraham, Mystical Supper, etc.] These icon prices will be determined upon inquire. Sizes start at 11″ x 14″ and go up.
Family icons: These icons are painted with each member of your family’s patron Saint. Price will be determined upon inquire.
Wedding Icons: Parents bless their children before marriage with these icons. After the Sacrament of Matrimony, the priest gives the bridegroom an icon of the Savior and the bride an icon of the Most Holy Theotokos. These icons accompany the married couple all their life and are the main icons in their home iconostasis.
